Reinach, Joseph
(1856-1921)
   political figure
   The nephew of jacques reinach, Joseph Reinach was born in Paris. The leader of the cabinet of léon gambetta and editor in chief of La République française, he was a deputy (1889-98) during the period of the Dreyfus affair. He defended Alfred dreyfus and denounced in particular the forgery of Colonel hubert henry. Reinach was reelected in 1906 and 1910. He is the author of Histoire de l'affaire Dreyfus (1901-11).
